Clean and comfortable rooms, staff was polite and pleasant.
A bit hard to get to considering the one-way streets surrounding the hotel. Plumbing in the bathroom was a little antiquated, but for the price...no biggie.
Central location. Clean and accommodating staff. Budget pricing.
Some maintenance issues, particularly with the plumbing. The sink dripped constantly and from the looks of it it had been that way for quite some time.
Good location, but kinda low quality hotel. Good for the money. Close to Downtown, which was plus.
It was close to the medical clinic where my husband had an early morning surgery, and we were from out of town.
I was happy to stay at the Cabana Inn--everything I needed was within walking distance. Very convenient at an affordable price.
The place may have been older, not perfect, but i say that is its charm. It was clean and cheap.
Loved the location to downtown Boise! The staff was super friendly! Looking at it online, it looked pretty ghetto, which is was, but we absolutely loved staying there! It had a fun atmosphere.
The pot smokers from downstairs...
The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Everything else. I booked it because it was cheap. You can tell that they try to take care of the hotel, but it desperately needs to be renovated. Gross carpet and bedding, plaster falling off of the area around the sink, and a tub that leaked. Definitely will not be staying here again. I'll pony up and stay at The Modern the next time I spend the night in Boise.
Convenient location. Pleasant and helpful management. Good price. You get what you pay for.
The motel is very tired and in need of some upgrades. The sink in the bathroom badly needed to be replaced.
It wasn't infested with bugs, free parking.
Housekeeping fails: didn't leave towels one day, threw my pajamas on the floor, took one of our Oreos and left it on the floor, left some random person's sock on the floor, didn't always make the beds.
The gentleman working the front desk had sensational service skills. I enjoyed the space available in the room and the exterior design of the hotel. I also enjoyed the fact that I was able to get a smoking room.
Cheap, great location, quaint in it's seediness.
Owner/Manager is a bit stodgy, plumbing is a joke at this hotel, and the ceilings all could use a deep cleaning...but this is what you get for 45 a night.
Great location, clean, safe, perfect for the price. The motel has a retro vibe that is a lot of fun. If I stay in boise again it will be at the Cabana Inn!!!
they provide us King size bed..it was good enough for 2 kids and 2 adults.
Cabana Inn was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was great for a tight budget. It was easy to get to, minus the one-way streets, and located in the heart of where we needed to be on the east side of Boise. Very close to bars and restaurants, and a short jaunt from shopping. They smelled fine, and had great AC. No bugs!
The rooms are definitely old, and very out of date, but other than that it was fantastic. Just don't be looking for high class!
